Welcome to the New Home of MoonDogSports.com!

Well, if you’re looking at the old site or what looks like someone who forgot to take their Prozac, then something has gone terribly wrong. However, if you see a spectacular new site then everything went as it should.
Welcome to the new home of MoonDogSports.com, the least read blog on the Internet. I’d like to extend a special welcome to my three loyal readers and would like to thank all of you for having supported me during the first four months of this site’s existence.
None of this would have been possible without the tireless efforts of Lawvol – thank you very much my friend!
Please take a look around and take note of the very top of the blog header where I have included a “Suggestions” page. If there’s anything about this site you’d like to comment on, please do so. I really want to know what you think about the whole package. Be Honest!!
We’re still working on moving all of the old content over and it will take several more days before that’s completed. We do have many of the most recent posts up and I’ll continue to post new content so my three loyal readers will have something to do.
I don’t intend to change my modus operandi (Lawvol got a warm fuzzy on that one) because I believe in the simple premise, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” I’ll continue to focus on sports with the serious issue mixed in, including a few jokes and of course, half-naked chicks. That’s the only reason anyone visits the site so the half-naked chicks are paramount.
This blog platform is built on the latest version of WordPress (2.5.1) and I like it a lot better than the old blogging software. It has so much more functionality and it’s connectivity with search engines and RSS feeds is excellent.
Please take a moment to click one of the ads and help MoonDog cover the cost of running this site. The Yardbarker ads take you to their site where you’ll find a host of sports news and information from bloggers like me. The banner ad at the very bottom is the one that makes the most so click that one please!!

Looks great Moondog. With the refreshing start, I was wondering if you wanted some suggestions on page counters. I use sitemeter.com and I think it’s truly the best way to go. It’s free, and gives you detail like: location, referrer, out click, time of visit, etc. Also, it gives an accurate Visits to Page Views ratio, unlike some which trigger each page view. Any way, I was going to email it to you but Yahoo! is down so I figured what the heck. I like the new design.

Sports Fan - Thanks a lot. Actually my counter does the same thing. It only records unique page views so the number of views you see is accurate. All of the stats you mentioned are located within the site I use for the counter.
Plus WordPress has a ton of free stats that tell you what you described and more.

MFSKEN - Thanks. WordPress doesn’t use Captcha-Killer here like the old site did. I prefer this obviously. Makes it easier for people to post comments without forgetting to enter the code.

Belated I know, been busy with a vacation then life etc…, but I dig the new layout. Seems to have a real “MoonDog motif” to it.
