UCLA QB Kevin Craft Likely Starter Vs Vols

264122e 150x112As the Tennessee Vols’ season opener draws closer the interest in their opponent’s preparation becomes very meaningful. The UCLA Bruins have been through a lot of changes since the end of last season, hiring new coach Rick Neuheisel and suffering a rash of injuries along their offensive line.

The injury bug has also hit where it hurts the most – quarterback. The Bruins lost their top two QB’s in spring practice as Patrick Cowan and Ben Olson were injured on back-to-back days.

I came across this article in the L.A. Times about Kevin Craft, the Bruins likely starter against Tennessee when the two square off on Labor Day in Pasadena.

It seems Craft is a mobile QB and he’s certainly going to need to be elusive, considering the problems along the Bruins offensive line.

With questions along the Vols defensive front seven, UCLA may have caught a break. But the Tennessee defense has enough talent to give UCLA a lot of trouble, especially against a Bruin offensive line with even more questions.

Check out the article and get to know who will be directing traffic for the Bruins on September 5.

Vols should be fine. UCLA has some rebuilding to do.

  2. I would be suprised if UT lets UCLA stay within 28 of them. Easy OOC W for the SEC.

I would say UT has their own QB troubles
