Joanna White was born in Poland, and moved to Canada when she was nine years old. She speaks Polish but doesn’t remember too much about growing up in Poland, except that there didn’t seem to be much color, especially since her family didn’t have a color television.
Posing nude for Mystique was a personal challenge for her. Being a model has taught her to be comfortable in her own skin and made her a stronger woman.
