Sliding under the radar a bit was the announcement last week that former Tennessee Lady Vol Candace Parker was selected as the WNBA’s Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year.

It seems I’m not the only one who recognizes the failures of the Volunteers offense. Scout.com’s Jeffery Stewart wrote an article that every Tennessee fan should read.
It’s an honest, objective review of the Vols performance against Northern Illinois and highlights the problems Tennessee continues to have.
Stewart writes, “Reality check for those Tennessee fans who think a change at quarterback is all the Vols need to return to gridiron glory — the team’s offensive performance may actually have been worse than last week particularly when you factor for strength of opponent and venue quotas.”
