Where Did “Hat Trick” Originate?

I, like hordes of sports fans around the globe, have often wondered where the term “hat trick” originated.
Anyone ever watching a hockey game knows when a player scores three goals in one game, that feat is referred to as a hat trick.
So I did some exhaustive searching and discovered this chick seen in the video knows all about it. Her name is Marina Orlova and she is a Russian born philologist.
Now you may be wondering what the hell is a philologist? Well, it’s someone who studies linguistics and etymology and in Marina’s case, she has applied her Philology degrees to specializing in word origins.
But what Marina really specializes in is looking hot and having really large breasts. As she explained the origins of the term hat trick, I was listening but didn’t pay any attention.
So maybe after watching the video someone could tell me where the term hat trick originated because I’m easily distracted.

It is a little known fact that a “hat trick” was a special sex service first provided by nineteenth-century prostitutes. This vigorous sex play involved the use of a variety of headgear (hence, “hat trick”) and normally resulted in multiple — usually three — orgasms.
How did “hat trick” come to refer to a guy scoring three consecutive times in hockey? The word was carried from one use to the other as a result of the large number of hockey fans who employ the services of prostitutes.
