Happy Thanksgiving
Published by MoonDog on November 27, 2008
Hopefully all of you are enjoying Thanksgiving and the time off from the rigors of work. This is a uniquely American holiday that goes beyond turkey and football. If everyone does a little soul searching, we can all make a list of many things that we are truly grateful for.
Posting will be light over the next few days although I intend to highlight the winner of the Hottest Food Network Chick contest, which was a rousing success.
I might add a blog about the Cowboys-Seahawks game and I’ll be adding a post at Fanfoodie.com about the bill of fare at the FedEXForum in Memphis.
This is a very important weekend for college football as we near the conclusion of the regular season. Depending on the outcome of several games, we could possibly isolate the teams most likely to be in the BCS national championship game in Miami on January 8.
I’ll write my usual weekend recap of all the best from this weekend’s college football action. We could also hear an announcement about the Tennessee head coaching vacancy and there may be some news out of South Bend about Notre Dame’s Charlie Weis.
Please take a minute to visit my friends you see listed in my blog roll or the sites I’ve linked to in my daily link dumps.
My sincere wishes to everyone for a very safe and happy holiday. Thanks for stopping by and please continue to do so.
Happy Thanksgiving!
