Cowboys WR Crayton Calls Werder a Liar Too

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Patrick Crayton agreed with teammate Terrell Owens’ assertion that a report by ESPNs Ed Werder wasn’t truthful, adding fuel to Owens comments during his post-game press conference on Sunday after Dallas defeated the New York Giants 20-8.
Appearing Monday on ESPN2s First Take, Crayton was asked if he agreed with Owens’ calling Werder’s report “lies.”
“Totally agree,” said Crayton.

Crayton also clarified that he, Owens and wide receiver Roy Williams did not meet with offensive coordinator Jason Garrett as a group, but rather met for one-on-one conversations, dispelling Werder’s report that all three had met with Garrett at the same time.
Crayton addressed the meeting he had with Garrett and said he wanted to iron out some issues over a lack of offensive execution.
I still hold firm on my belief that Werder wouldn’t purposely fabricate a story. However, listening to the interview with Crayton, it appears Werder may have received some inaccurate insider information.
In all fairness to Werder, it doesn’t come as a surprise to hear more Cowboys’ players dismissing last week’s report. Any other reaction would only give cause to more speculation and create greater media coverage – unwanted coverage at that.

I don’t suppose that Cratyon’d be whinin’ like a bitch had they lost to the Giants now would he ?
The fact of the matter is a meeting did take place where TO and a few teammates did question the play calling. It’s nothing more nothing less.
What Crayton ought to be really concerned with is that as it now stands his team aren’t necessarily sure of making the playoffs altogether .
A team that’s ladened with stars and all they seem to do is either bitch and whine or just implode as they’ve got no real leadership on the team !
