Lindsay Lohan Upset She Doesn’t Get Roles Like Scarlett Johansson

Hollywood socialite Lindsay Lohan is annoyed she doesn’t land as many film roles as Scarlett Johansson – because she is convinced she works just as hard as the Golden Globe nominated star.
Lohan fears she isn’t taken seriously by filmmakers because of her well-publicized problems over the past few years. Lohan was photographed passed out in the front seat of a friends car in May 2007, after which she entered rehabilitation later that month.
Less than two months after completing her rehabilitation, Lohan was arrested for drunk driving in July 2007.
Lohan believes her tarnished reputation has prevented her from being taken seriously as an actress.
Gee Lindsay, you think?
And the 22-year-old is still struggling to shake her party girl image because she is constantly in the media spotlight.
However the star remains adamant she is hard-working and deserving of as many acting roles as the other actresses of her generation.
Lohan tells Interview magazine, “What hurts me the most is that I work just as hard as any other actress around my age, like Scarlett Johansson, but I just don’t get the opportunities that they get because people are so distracted by the mess that I created in my life. But that doesn’t mean it’s going to last forever.”
Let’s see. Scarlett Johansson has been nominated for two Golden Globe awards for her work in Lost in Translation and Girl With a Pearl Earring.
She’s appeared in some of the better films to be released over the past 10 years and is generally thought to give a solid performance in every role.
Lohan on the other hand has appeared in a total of 15 movies, three of which actually amounted to something. None of the films have ever been nominated for an award and Lindsay hasn’t been nominated for any personal awards for her performances.
Wonder why Johansson gets more offers than Lohan? Hmm.
Because Johansson is an accomplished actress that doesn’t get shit-faced and passes out in the front seat of cars. I’d say that about sums things up.
