Sblog Tweets Promotes Sports Bloggers Content
Published by MoonDog on January 14, 2009
My friends at Hugging Harold Reynolds started a new site that offers sports bloggers an opportunity to promote their content via their Twitter account.
Sblog Tweets is a cool and easy way for sports bloggers to publicize their content in much the same way an RSS feed works.
You’ll need to set up a Twitter account if you haven’t done so already to take advantage of this service. Once you’ve set up your account, you can then “tweet” your posts, uploading them on Twitter.
By using the #sblog hash in the text of your tweet, your post will then appear at Sblog Tweets.
For Fire Fox users, Shareholic is a cool browser plug in you can use to quickly post your content to dozens of social networking sites, including Digg, Twitter, Stumble Upon and Facebook.
Through Shareholic, you can set up the #sblog hash to automatically be inserted into each of your tweets.
For example, if the title of your post is “I Like Breasts”, you can force the #sblog hash to appear before the title like this: #sblog “I Like Breasts” – pretty easy, huh?
Once you’ve done that, all of your tweets will appear like an RSS feed list at Sblog Tweets.
This is a free service being provided that only allows for sports bloggers content. Take a few minutes to visit Sblog Tweets and please help make this site a rousing success.
