Catherine Bell: Still Making Me Come To Attention

I didn’t know anything about Catherine Bell until she showed up on the TV series JAG, a sultry creature playing the role of a U.S. Marine wasn’t exactly something fans of the show were expecting.

After minor roles in TV and film from 1990 to 1994, Bell got her big break in 1995 when she landed the role of Sarah McKenzie. For the next 10 years Catherine held the dual honors of being the sexiest attorney and Marine Corps officer on the planet.

Bell came into the national spotlight after the series aired episodes in which she appeared in a powder blue bikini that was, well, it was so good it made you want to cry with joy. I personally thanked the Good Lord for the loveliness that was Catherine Bell.

Since JAG came to an end, Bell has been busy with a new TV series, Army Wives. She plays the role of Denise Sherwood, the wife of a U.S. Army Major who’s the victim of domestic violence.

Catherine is a sports lover too, enjoying skiing, snowboarding and kick-boxing. Bell was the grand marshal of the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway in 2007.

Catherine has appeared in dozens of magazines, including FHM and Stuff. From 2001 until 2005, Bell was listed among FHMs 100 Sexiest Women and deservedly so.
