Happy Birthday Leilani Dowding

Former Miss Great Britain Leilani Dowding is celebrating her 29th birthday today. The Page 3 girl, glamour model and television personality was the first woman of Asian decent to represent Great Britain in the Miss Universe pageant in 1998.

After her success in beauty pageants, Dowding dropped out of school to focus on her modeling career full-time. Although she had not originally considered topless modeling, she started appearing as a Page 3 girl in The Sun newspaper in 1999.

Her younger sister Melanie (“Mel”) Dowding also had a brief career as a Page Three girl, and the sisters have posed together for topless photo shoots.

Dowding has been a guest on various British television shows, modeling on the Big Breakfast and This Morning, and appearing on The Weakest Link, Faking It and Celebrity Wrestling and Celebrity Fear Factor. She has also enjoyed a season in pantomime as Tiger Lilly in Peter Pan.

Leilani appeared in a number of layouts for the now-defunct Perfect 10 web site and can also be seen at several men’s magazine web sites posing topless.
