I was standing in the checkout line and happened to notice a very lovely face staring back at me on the cover of Lucky magazine.
I initially didn’t recognize the model and upon doing some research discovered it was Amanda Seyfried, the young actress best known for her role as Karen in Mean Girls alongside Rachel McAdams and Lindsay Lohan.
Seyfried started her career as a model at age eleven. In 2000, she originated the role of Lucy Montgomery on As the World Turns. From 2002 to 2003, she played the role of Joni Stafford on ABC’s All My Children.
Seyfried has had minor guest roles on House, Law & Order: SVU and CSI. Seyfried also has the role of Sarah Henrickson in the HBO series Big Love.
She played supporting roles in the 2007 films Alpha Dog and Solstice, and had her first lead role as Sophie in the film version of the musical Mamma Mia!.
Seyfried continues to get better looking and has improved her acting. Look for more of Amanda in the future but for now, enjoy these few images.
