Evangeline Lilly has denied rumors she is set to leave the cast of the hit TV series Lost, insisting reports she has been auditioning for other shows are “absolutely false.”
Lilly has been a regular fixture on the mystery adventure series since its launch in 2004.
Lilly, who last year negotiated a reported $70,000 per episode pay raise, was said to be the next star to exit the show, following reports she had been spotted trying out for new projects.
But a representative for the actress has blasted the claims, telling E! Online, “(The rumors) are absolutely false.”
Lilly herself adds,”I am very happy on Lost and have no reason to look anywhere else for a home.” Should Lilly ever decide to depart the cast, chances are good the show’s ratings would drop sharply.
