Actress Jennifer Love-Hewitt is moving on from her broken engagement with the help of her Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy, according to reports.

Love-Hewitt reportedly endured a painful split from fiance Ross McCall in December 2008, but she has been spending more and more time with colleague Kennedy and their friendship has blossomed into a romance.

Kennedy joined Hewitt to celebrate her 30th birthday and Star magazine claims they are now a couple.

A source tells the publication, “Jennifer and Jamie have grown incredibly close since he joined the cast of her show last fall. They hit it off right away, and her feelings for him have only grown stronger.”

“She’s trying to keep her relationship with Jamie a secret, telling people they’re just friends, but she can’t hide her true feelings.”

“They work together all day and hang out most nights. And when they aren’t together, they’re constantly on the phone… Jamie makes (her) laugh, which she really appreciates after crying over Ross the last few months.”

As if the news of Megan Fox’ reconciliation with Brian Austin Green wasn’t bad enough. Love-Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy? Are you kidding me?

Kennedy – along with Seth Green – has to be among the most annoying and talentless actors I’ve ever had the displeasure of watching.

So with this double dose of bad news, there needs to be a double dose of something to smile about. The only thing that can make me smile at the moment are a few images of Jennifer Love-Hewitt – and the hopes she will come to her senses.
