Tennessee Volunteers Move Into Top 10 Recruiting Classes

Running back Bryce Brown’s decision to play football for Tennessee helped vault the Volunteers into the nation’s top 10 recruiting classes for 2009.

The addition of Brown, the consensus top rated football prospect in the nation, was enough for Rivals.com to list the Vols as its 10th best class while Scouts.com moved Tennessee from 15th to 8th.

“I love Coach Kiffin,” Brown said at his press conference. “Coach Kiffin doesn’t back down. Coach Kiffin thinks that program will be turned around tomorrow.”

Whether Kiffin can get the Vols turned around this season remains to be seen, but this recruiting class will go a long way to help achieve that goal.

For those of you that haven’t seen Brown in action, here’s a highlight video I came across.
