There Goes My Bracket

I get a few hours sleep and everything turns to dust. I’m watching the Florida State-Wisconsin game last night and the Seminoles are up 7. Around 11:00 p.m. I fell asleep and didn’t wake up until a little after 4:00 a.m.

I awake to find my once decent bracket has been turned into a pile of goo after only five short hours. Ohio State loses to Sienna in overtime, the Badgers make a comeback and defeat the ‘Noles in double overtime and Wake Forest got their asses handed to them by Cleveland State.

Despite the terrible night for my bracket, I’m still in the top 10% at ESPNs tournament challenge.

As for my team in the In Game Now Bloggers Fantasy League, I’m fairing much better. My boys weren’t as dominant as I wanted them to be, but the numbers were pretty respectable.

Sam Young, Earl Clark, Hasheem Thabeet, Jonny Flynn and Tyreke Evans scored 77 points, grabbed 38 boards and dished out 17 assists in their first round games.

After Sunday’s games are completed, the standings will be updated and we’ll get to see who rules the roost.
