Happy (Belated) Birthday Moran Atias

Moran Atias, the beautiful Israeli model and actress, celebrated her 28th birthday on April 9. Had it not been for the fact she shares a birthday with many other celebrities, namely Jenna Jameson, Moran would have easily been the noted birthday girl.

As it turns out, she’s still getting the extra attention she deserves. Atias hails from Haifa, Israel, a town that I visited during my time in the military.

After spending a few years of her childhood in Los Angeles, she moved back to Israel with her family. In 1996, she won the Miss Globe International contest and the following year she won the Top Model of the World title.

Atias left the Israel for Europe at the age of 17, initially working as a model. She was crowned Miss Israel in 1998, and later resettled in Milan, Italy, where her career really began to take off. She soon became a model for Versace, appearing in print campaigns and runway shows.

In addition to her work as a model, Atias co-hosted several television programs in Italy, such as Matricole & Meteore and Carramba.

In 2003, Atias released a pop music album, Sphynx. She has also become better known outside of Italy with a series of calendars, which showcase all her magnificent attributes.

In 2005, Atias made her big-screen debut as Monica in the Italian thriller Gas. She next appeared as Sigal in Yamim Shel Ahava.

She was named the official spokeswoman for the city of Milan for its 2005-2006 campaigns against rampant graffiti and cruelty toward animals.

Atias has dated managing director of Renault’s F1 team, Flavio Briatore, and soccer stars Christian Vieri and Adrian Mutu.

With sultry good looks and a body to die for, Atias is one very fine piece of womanhood, as the images below clearly demonstrate.
