Hulk Hogan Almost Went ‘O.J.’ on His Old Lady

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has issued a clarification of his remarks in a bizarre rant about his marriage split, insisting he was tempted to attack his wife “like O.J.”

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, is currently going through a bitter divorce from estranged wife Linda, which has forced him to move out of his luxury mansion in Florida.

A representative for Hogan tells Entertainment Tonight that the wrestling superstar “in no way condones the O.J. situation” and that he was using it to convey his frustration with his situation.

In the interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Hogan compares himself to convicted felon O.J. Simpson, who was cleared of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994. Hogan says he is furious Linda is allegedly dating “some shaggy-haired pool boy 30 years her junior,” adding: “I could have turned everything into a crime scene, like O.J., cutting everybody’s throat.

“You live half a mile from the 20,000-square-foot home you can’t go to anymore, you’re driving through downtown Clearwater and see a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade, and you know that a 19-year-old boy is sleeping in your bed, with your wife… I totally understand O.J. I get it.”
