Former Law & Order cast member Elisabeth Rohm celebrates her 36th birthday today. Rohm is a German-born actress who played Assistant D.A. Serena Southerlyn on the television series from 2001 to 2005.
Rohm has also been noted for her role as Detective Kate Lockley during seasons one and two of the TV series Angel.
Rohm was born in Dusseldorf, Germany but moved to New York City before reaching her first birthday, later living in Greenwich, Connecticut.
In 1997, Rohm had her first major television role as Dorothy “Dorf” Hayes on the soap opera One Life to Live. She also had a regular role on the TNT drama Bull.
Rohm shared nominations with cast members in 2002 and 2004 at the Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for Law & Order.
Rohm was listed in Maxim magazine’s Hot 100 list in 2002.
Rohm never got a fair shake on Law & Order, having the difficult task of following Angie Harmon. The writing was terrible and the producers never seemed to get her character situated.
What Rohm never lacked was good looks, bringing those Bavarian features to the screen. Blond hair and blue eyes are always a good thing, and Rohm supplied that and an ample figure to go along with it.
