Jamie-Lynn Sigler, the actress most famous for her role as the daughter of Tony Soprano in the HBO series The Sopranos, celebrates her 28th birthday today.
In 1997, Sigler was cast as the smart but troubled Meadow Soprano, the daughter of a New Jersey mob boss. The Sopranos premiered in 1999 and became a huge success, with Sigler rising to fame as a TV actress.
In 2004, she starred as Hollywood Madam Heidi Fleiss in the television movie Call Me: The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss. In that same year, Sigler landed her first starring role in the film Extreme Dating.
In 2008, Sigler made three appearances as herself on the HBO series Entourage and also guest-starred as Jillian on the TV series How I Met Your Mother.
On the December 06, 2008 airing of Saturday Night Live, Sigler appeared as the checkout girl for the now famous music video, Jizz in My Pants by The Lonely Island.
Sigler is currently linked to actor Jerry Ferrara, whom she met on the set of Entourage.
