A man donned a rather unique disguise to rob a convenience store to get his nicotine fix.
The man wore an empty Bud Light box on his head as he robbed a Lincoln store early Monday morning.
Police say he wrapped something around his hand, implying he had a weapon, but he never showed one.
The bandit made off with nine packs of Newport cigarettes, worth about $50.
The robber did not attempt to steal Bud Light though, apparently happy with the used box on his head.
Police are searching for the man responsible using a tape from the store’s video surveillance. The clerk on duty at the time of the robbery stated he’d never seen anyone attempt to rob the store wearing a box of Bud Light – or any other beer – to hide their identity.
