My friends over at Ernie’s House of Whoop Ass summed up the global economic crisis rather succinctly when he posted this image on his site recently.
Poor girl. Business is so bad she’s had to lower her prices to the bare – and I do mean bare – minimum.
Once, not long ago, the economy was booming and business was busting – and I do mean busting – at the seams.
It’s a pretty sad commentary when hard working people like this woman have to relegate themselves to performing valuable services at well below market prices.
It doesn’t seem fair in some ways, but as we’ve all come – and in her case, I do mean come – to the conclusion that you have to do what you have to do in order to make ends meet.
One day in the not to distant future, we’ll see a surge – a 10 to 15 second surge – and the economy will rise up again, erupting with a force more powerful than Mt. Saint Helen’s.
