A Brief History Of Weed – That’s Pot, Refer, Mary Jane, Etc.

This is for my friend Lenny at Hail Mary Jane and to all of those people who told me back in the 1970’s that I’d never amount to anything if I smoked marijuana.
During the decade of the 70’s, you could buy a lid of Colombian for $35.00 and giggle your ass off listening to the latest 8-track from Richard Pryor or Cheech & Chong.
Fast forward to 2009 and you can get a lid of hydro for $600.00 and giggle your ass off watching a DVD of Richard Pryor or Cheech & Chong.
So here’s the question. Would you rather be my age and had an opportunity to experience the 70’s or be in your 20’s today and spend $600.00 for the same damn thing?
I’ll take the 70’s all day long.

hahaha…. thanks for the shout out man… I’d pick the 70s too…. So many drugs, easy women and STD’s weren’t as serious as they are now. 70s FTW
