Tennessee Volunteers Defensive Line Coach/Recruiting Coordinator Ed Orgeron was named the Southeastern Conference Recruiter of the Week by Rivals.com.
The Vols held their first of several summer camps where some of the nation’s top prep football players were in attendance this week in Knoxville.
Orgeron has a proven track record as one of the best recruiters in the nation, and his recent successes in attracting top level talent to Tennessee earned him the well-deserved kudos from Rivals.

Also from Rivals was this report that the Southeastern Conference has implemented a rule limiting league football programs to signing no more than 28 prep prospects annually.
The SEC passed the rule after Ole Miss signed 37 players in February, thus bringing to an end a recent trend where member schools were signing more than the NCAA allowed 25 scholarship players per year.
