A Belgian bus driver may lose her job after it was discovered she is a well known porn star.
Audrey, the reigning Miss Nude Belgium 2009, passed all her driving tests following a six-week intensive course in the city of Liege last month.
But shortly after she began work, Audrey was summoned by officials of bus company TEC and asked to explain a series of ‘interesting pictures.’
“They were photos taken from my erotic performances and from my web site,” Audrey said. “I was hauled before the director of human resources and he asked me to choose between my erotic career and my new career on the buses.”
“He told me that I wouldn’t be able to take part in my nocturnal activities while also working as a bus driver,” Audrey continued. “He said that I had to sign a form pledging that I wouldn’t do any more nude pictures.”
Audrey, who asked for her surname to remain private, is married with two children.
She claims her erotic work is enjoyable, but the money she earns isn’t enough. Driving a bus would be the type of job she needed to pay the bills.
“I’d always wanted to be a bus driver as I’m very sociable. I like the contact with people and I don’t see why an erotic career is incompatible with my day job.”
Carine Zanella, spokesperson for TEC, said their treatment of Audrey was nothing to do with morality. “We are solely interested in security for our drivers and customers,” said Zanella.
“We don’t wish to see a member of our staff finishing a show in the middle of the night and then picking up a bus at six in the morning.”
Zanella added that Audrey was proving to be one of the most popular drivers in the history of the company, and that her bus was almost always full.
