Happy Birthday Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson, the singer who has risen to international fame and girlfriend of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, celebrates her 29th birthday today.
Simpson has achieved seven Billboard Top 40 hits, and has three gold and two multi-platinum RIAA-certified albums.
Simpson rose to fame in the late 1990’s after releasing her first single, I Wanna Love You Forever, a song that reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
She followed that initial success with another album, Irresistible, released in mid-2001. The title song became one of the biggest hits of her career, peaking at No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100. Irresistible debuted at No. 6 in June 2001 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart and has sold 825,000 copies to date.
In the summer of 2005, Simpson made her first appearance in a motion picture as Daisy Duke in the movie version of the television series The Dukes of Hazzard. The film eventually collected $110.5 million worldwide.
Simpson made waves when a scene from the movie featured her wearing a hot pink bikini and washing General Lee, the name of the car made famous in The Dukes of Hazzard.
In November 2007, Simpson began dating Tony Romo. The relationship has caused a stir among Dallas Cowboys fans, being the blame for Romo’s poor performances, especially when the Cowboys lost to the eventual Super Bowl champion New York Giants in the 2007 NFC divisional playoffs after Romo & Simpson went on a trip during the Cowboy’s bye week.
Simpson has endured a lot during her 29 years on the planet. Regardless of the gaffes she’s made, jokes about her weight or even how she isn’t exactly the sharpest tact in the box, these things are for certain: she’s pretty damn hot and a hell of a lot richer than you.
