Memphis Grizzlies Rescind Offer To Warrick

The Memphis Grizzlies have rescinded their $3 million offer to Hakim Warrick. Now it’s up to the free agent power forward to decide if he’ll stay or not.

With Warrick off of the books, the Grizzlies could move about $9 million below the salary cap. It would give owner Michael Heisley more cash to possibly throw Allen Iverson’s way.

Heisley has been courting the veteran point guard for weeks, while Iverson entertains deals from other NBA teams. The Grizzlies have offered Iverson a one-year contract, but have let it be known that he would likely come off the bench to play.

It’s reported that Warrick’s agent, Bill Duffy, has already been contacted by multiple teams who are interested in signing his client.
