Happy (Belated) Birthday Kate Beckinsale

Kate Beckinsale, the English actress best known for her roles in Pearl Harbor and Van Helsing, celebrated her 36th birthday on Sunday July 26.
Beckinsale got an early start to her career when she landed a role at the age of 18 in One Against the Wind, a television film about World War II that was first aired in 1991.
In 1994, Beckinsale had a supporting role in Prince of Jutland and in 1995 starred in Haunted, a film in which she appeared topless.
In 1998 she appeared in two films, Shooting Fish and The Last Days of Disco. In 1999 Beckinsale landed a role in the film Brokedown Palace and then was cast in the 2001 film Pearl Harbor as the female lead, after Charlize Theron turned down the part.
In 2004 she portrayed Anna Valerious in Van Helsing and in 2005 Beckinsale portrayed Ava Gardner in Martin Scorsese’s The Aviator.
Beckinsale has appeared on the lists of hottest women on the planet in many men’s magazines, including FHM, Maxim, Stuff and Ask Men.
In 2002 she was No. 63 on Stuff’’s 102 Sexiest Women in the World; in 2003 she was No. 16 on Maxim’s Hot 100 and in 2006 she was No. 23 in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World.
In 2009, Beckinsale was No. 10 on AskMen.com’s Top 99 Women.
Claiming she was a late bloomer into what we now know is one of the more stunning women on the planet, Beckinsale is one of the highest paid actresses working today.
