Elena Santarelli, an Italian model, actress, television hostess and one hot piece of womanhood, celebrates her 28th birthday today.
Santarelli was born in Latina, Italy, a city best known for its beautiful neoclassical architecture.
After spending her youth dreaming of becoming a model, Santarelli got the opportunity she was hoping for in 1999 when she won the Elite Model Look Competition.
In 2006 Elena posed semi-nude for a calendar produced by the Italian magazine Max. The calendar was one of the best-selling Max ever produced and Santarelli’s popularity soared as a result of her appearance.
That same year, Santarelli hit the big screen in Vita Smeralda, a comedy starring legendary Italian actor Jerry Cala. In 2007 she began co-hosting the Italian version of a television series similar to MTV’s Total Live Request.
