Mikka Shardai Cline, a 23-year-old resident of Waco, Texas, was arrested on August 18 after she struck a wheelchair-bound boy who was wearing a pre-surgical medical halo screwed into his skull.
According to an arrest report, Cline hit the 13-year-old boy during a scuffle over a soccer ball at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children on Tuesday night.
The incident happened when the boy’s uncle retrieved a soccer ball from a playground bush, according to the report, which also stated that the man had previously purchased the ball for the child.
Cline also wanted the ball and began swinging at the boy, who was holding the ball on his lap, according to the report.
It stated that the boy’s uncle tried to stop Cline but that she punched the boy’s halo once, causing him pain.
Cline is charged with injury to a child and earns her the title of Super Dingleberry.
