My Favorite Playboy Playmates: Victoria Silvstedt

Victoria Silvstedt, the Swedish model who was personally recruited by Hugh Hefner to appear in America’s oldest men’s magazine, is another of my favorite Playboy Playmates.
In 1993, three years before appearing in Playboy, Silvstedt modeled nude for a photo layout in Girls of Northern Europe.
Playboy Playmate of the Year, actress and singer. She is also a radio and TV hostess, a published singer, and a former national-level skier in Sweden.
At the age of 16 Silvstedt competed in and won a Best Fake Orgasm contest at a local bar, taking home a new television for her trouble. She would later finish as the first runner-up in the Miss Sweden pageant which was won by Johanna Lind.
After her loss in the Miss Sweden Pageant, Silvstedt modeled for many of the world’s most famous fashion designers, including Chanel, Christian Dior, Loris Azzaro, Givenchy, Valentino, and Giorgio Armani.
Silvstedt became the Playmate of the Month in the December 1996 issue of Playboy, and she was selected as the Playmate of the Year in 1997.
She has been featured in numerous magazines, including GQ, Maxim, FHM, Gear, and Nuts, where in 2005 she came in second to actress Jennifer Ellison in a competition to find the Sexiest Blond in the World.
