Happy Birthday Shannon Elizabeth

Shannon Elizabeth, the Texas-born former fashion model who came to prominence for her role in the American Pie films, celebrates her 36th birthday today.
Elizabeth was born in Houston, Texas but was raised in Waco. During her high school days, she was quite the tennis player and at one point considered a professional tennis career.
Elizabeth appeared in several films, including Jack Frost and Dish Dogs, before landing the role of Nadia in the 1990’s American Pie films.
That role put her on the map permanently which led to other film and television roles, including Scary Movie, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Tomcats.
Elizabeth appeared in That 70’s Show for a number of episodes. In August 1999, she posed for Playboy magazine and in 2000 and 2003, she was featured in Maxim magazine.
Elizabeth was among the cast of the sixth season of Dancing with the Stars, partnered with Derek Hough. Elizabeth was the seventh star eliminated from the competition.
Elizabeth describes poker as her “second career” and has been called “one of the leading celebrity poker players,” visiting Las Vegas several times each month to participate in various poker tournaments.
