Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin continues to attract nationally ranked high school football players, with five-star wide receiver Kenny Stills of Encinitas, California paying a visit to Knoxville this weekend.
The 6-1, 175-pound wideout is being recruited by several SEC and Pac-10 schools, including UCLA, the team Tennessee will face Saturday afternoon in Neyland Stadium.
Stills will make his first of six official visits this weekend and has set three other official visits to Penn State, Oklahoma and Florida, all scheduled in November.
Stills isn’t the only highly touted prep prospect visiting the Vols this weekend.
Michael Palardy, who verbally committed to the Vols in July, is widely considered to be one of the nation’s best kickers. Cody Riggs and Demetrius Wright, two four-star cornerbacks, are visiting Tennessee this weekend.
Riggs, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, will be taking his first official visit this weekend and has scheduled visits to Georgia, Notre Dame and Florida.
Wright, of Corona, California, made his first official visit last week to Washington. The 6-1, 195-pound corner is considering the Huskies, Vols, USC and Arizona.
T.J. Leifheit, a 6-7, 315-pound offensive tackle, will round out the list of prep prospects visiting this weekend. The four-star prospect from Wilmington, North Carolina will be making his first official visit and is thought to be considering the Vols, USC, Florida State, LSU and North Carolina.
Kiffin and his staff have received verbal commitments from a wealth of talented prep prospects for the class of 2010. The Vols are currently listed as the 10th best recruiting class by Scout and 11th by Rivals.
