My Favorite Playboy Playmates: Neferteri Shepherd

Continuing a series begun in May, this week I’d like to share another of my favorite Playboy Playmates, the very sexy Neferteri Shepherd.
Shepherd was chosen as Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in July 2000 and has appeared in numerous Playboy videos.
Shepherd got her start in San Francisco as a model when a friend brought her attention to a Playboy advertisement in a newspaper.
Shepherd beat out thousands of other girls to become Miss July. The audition that did it for her was held a day after she turned eighteen.
The opportunity to pose in Playboy provided a career for Shepherd. After the issue was published, she did a lot of promotional work on television and radio. Shepherd has done catalog work as a lingerie model, as well as for Hawaiian Tropic and Venus Swimwear.
Television has also been good to Shepherd of late. She has a recurring role on the FX show entitled The X Show. Shepherd is also a staple on MTV and BET as a dancer and model in many urban videos and has done commercial work as well.
