Patriots Bob Kraft Rated NFL’s Best Owner

Yahoo Sports columnist Michael Silver has compiled a list of the NFL’s best owners, and not surprisingly New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft was rated number one.
Silver says his rankings of the league’s 32 owners is subjective, based on answering a basic question: If you were a fan of this team, how would you feel about having this person in charge of the franchise?
Among the NFL’s top owners, Silver highlights the impact each have upon the league as an entity. He gives high marks to those who get the most out of their brand and spend a significant share of the revenues they accrue attempting to enhance the product.
Placing Kraft’s name at the top of the list was actually an easy choice to make. Based on his performance as the chair of the NFL’s broadcast committee, he teamed with commissioner Roger Goodell to negotiate two-year extensions with the league’s broadcast partners.
