Happy Birthday Keeley Hazell

Keeley Hazell, the Page 3 girl who has become one of the most popular models on the Internet, celebrates her 23rd birthday today.

At the age of 16, Hazell left school to work as a hairdresser. Her co-workers convinced her she should try to become a model and the following year, she entered The Daily Star’s Search For a Beach Babe contest and won.

In December 2004, Hazell entered the Sun’s Page 3 Idol competition and won, winning a one-year modeling contract with the magazine.

It was at that point that Hazell’s modeling career really began to take off.

In January 2006, Hazell made headlines when Chelsea F.C. soccer player Joe Cole was beaten up at a party held at her home.

Hazell is regularly featured in Zoo and continues to appear in The Sun at least once every two weeks. She has been on the cover of The Sun’s 2006 and 2007 Page 3 calendars, in addition to her own wall calendars, the 2007 edition selling 30,000 copies in its first few days of release.

In 2009, according to the August edition of Loaded, Peta Todd states that Keeley has given modeling up to pursue a career in acting. She also stated that Keeley is currently in America receiving acting lessons.
