Unlike most new cast members on Saturday Night Live who begin their tenure in relative obscurity, Jenny Slate made sure no one would forget her first appearance
During her inaugural SNL episode, Slate came out with a bang, or more to the point, a bomb, an F-Bomb to be exact.
About halfway through a sketch about biker chicks, Slate says: “You stood up for yourself, and I fucking love you for that.”
Based on the look she had on her face, Slate was aware she had seriously gaffed and was probably wondering if her first gig on the show was going to be her last.
Charles Rocket was the only cast member to have been fired from SNL for having uttered the F-Word in 1981.
