Landi Swanepoel, a super sexy South African model who has graced the pages of Sports Illustrated, Maxim and FHM, celebrates her 30th birthday today.
Swanepoel was “discovered” when she was fourteen while shopping with her mother. Why can’t I ever “discover” a hot model?
According to Wiki, Swanepoel has been a featured model for Guess? Jeans and she also plays the character of “Sylvia” in Peroni’s Nastro Azzurro beer commercials that pay tribute to Federico Fellini’s La dolce vita.
The role of Sylvia was originally played by Swedish actress Anita Ekberg.
Swanepoel also has been in advertisements for Chanel and Land Rover.
Swanepoel has made the cover of FHM and has also been in the South African edition of Sports Illustrated. She most recently appears in Maxim’s February 2009 Swimsuit Issue.
She is isn’t one of the more well-known supermodels but Swanepoel can certainly hold her own in the looks department and her body is exactly what you’d expect as well.
