Tyra Banks has topped a Forbes list of the highest earning women on primetime TV. The former Victoria’s Secret model is beginning to take control of the airwaves much like her idol Oprah Winfrey.
With an estimated $30 million in earnings, Banks raked in $12 million more than her closest competitor.
Among her many enterprises, Banks has the reality show America’s Next Top Model, her talk show Tyra, guest-starring roles on shows like Gossip Girl, and she serves as a producer for a variety of shows.
Runner-up Katherine Heigl took home $18 million for her role in Grey’s Anatomy and her film projects, while CSI: Crime Scene Investigation actress Marg Helgenberger is in third with $9.5 million in earnings.
