World Series Scalper Arrested For Selling Counterfeit Ticket

New York City police say a scalper arrested for selling fake World Series tickets outside Yankee Stadium tried to bribe a cop with seats.

The 50-year-old man was arrested before the start of Game 2 last week after he was allegedly caught selling a counterfeit ticket. Police say he had three other tickets on him.

After being booked at a nearby precinct, police say, he told an officer he could get him tickets for another game in exchange for his release.

Douglas Clark was charged with attempted bribery and possession of a forged instrument.

There have been at least three other arrests for selling counterfeit tickets during the World Series.
