Counterfeit Cigarettes Filled With Rabbit Droppings Confiscated

More than $2 million worth of counterfeit cigarettes filled with rabbit droppings instead of tobacco have been confiscated by customs officials in Spain.

The fake cigarettes – due to be sold on the black market as famous brands – were discovered after British tourists in the Canary Islands smelled a rat – or in this case a rabbit – whenever they lit up.

“They stunk. They smell just as you’d imagine burning poo to smell,” said one customs official in Tenerife.

Police and customs staff arrested 12 smugglers in an undercover operation to intercept the cigarettes as they landed on a boat from China.

“They not only smell bad but the toxic chemicals they give off are pure poison,” explained a customs official.

Ah, and the difference is? The real products have poisons and toxic chemicals in them too. These just might do the job a bit faster than the “authentic” brands – and save the consumer a lot of money in the long run.

I suspect that none of the stuff Doug buys bears a warning label saying in essence “if you use this product as intended, it will probably kill you”. Cigarettes are poison. The only difference between the rabbit dung smokes and the tobacco smokes is the poison involved – a bit like if you meant to drink sulfuric acid and drank hydrochloric acid instead.

or Rebelknight if you were to buy a glass of beer out at dinner one night and the waiter handed you a frosty glass or urine. Doug acts like smokers deserve the abuse while a good portion of what he likely ingests on a daily basis is also very harmful to one’s body.
