David Beckham To Spend Thanksgiving With Troops

Soccer star David Beckham is set to spend the Thanksgiving holiday at an American army base in Germany in a bid to boost soldiers’ morale.
Beckham will fly into Kaiserslautern, south west Germany on Monday with his Los Angeles Galaxy teammates to visit U.S. troops and their families.
Beckham will meet wounded war veterans during a trip to the Landstuhl Regional Medical Centre, where military staff receive treatment for their injuries.
He will also take part in a friendly soccer game against local team Kaiserslautern FC on November 26.
The trip comes just two weeks after his wife Victoria visited the state of Kentucky with their eldest son Brooklyn to raise awareness of childhood poverty.
