April Scott, small-town girl from Poplar Bluff, Missouri that’s became an annual member of all the hottest women lists, celebrates her 31st birthday today.
During her high school days Scott was a frequent participant in local beauty pageants, winning about half of them.
Upon graduation, Scott attended College of the Ozarks where she studied theater. After earning her degree, she left Missouri for the bright lights of Hollywood.
In 2006, she was cast as Daisy Duke in the film, “The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning.” The film was released in March 2007.
Scott’s acting career includes appearances on Entourage, The Shield, Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, and CSI: Miami. She also hosted Ripe TV, Octane TV, and ESPN2′s The Hook, where she interviews extreme sports athletes.
Scott’s is the face of Merle Norman Cosmetics and also appears in campaigns for Dreamgirl Lingerie. She was also named 2006′s Girl to Watch in the December 2005 issue of Maxim.
Scott was also cast as the sole female in Motley Crue’s video If I Die Tomorrow. She was ranked No. 76 on the Maxim Hot 100 list of 2006.
Scott was ranked No. 62 in Stuff Magazine’s Sexiest 100 Celebrities of 2007, No. 63 on Maxim magazine’s Hot 100 list of 2007 and FHM’s 2008 list of 100 Sexiest Women in the World.
