A male fashion model from New York City is in hot water in Batesville, Arkansas after he was accused of offering police officers oral sex if they released him from jail.
The Independence County Sheriff’s Department originally arrested Nicholas Snider on February 1 for public intoxication and disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance at a friend’s home.
Deputies say while in the back of the police cruiser, he offered a deputy oral sex if he let him go. Police say he offered sexual favors to officers again while at the police station.
A charge of attempting to influence a public servant was added to the two original charges.
Snider pleaded not guilty to the charges and has been released from jail on a $780 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on February 17.
Investigators say Snider was visiting a friend in Batesville, a town 120 miles northwest of Memphis.
Snider has appeared in several Prada campaigns. In 2008, Forbes ranked him as the fifth-most successful male model.
