Wearing a mask of President Barack Obama, a man failed in his attempt to rob a bank in Austria after he turned up on an early-closing day.
The man attempted to access the bank by hitting the door with his gun as staff remained locked inside during a training session.
The would-be robber then left the Raiffeisen branch in Kircheim empty-handed in his getaway car.
An employee said: “We thought it was part of the training, some sort of initiative test, or a joke. Laughing only seemed to make him more angry.”
A bank spokesman added: “He wasn’t very smart – the bank was robbed both last December and in January this year and we now have really tight security so I doubt if he would have got away with much – assuming he had managed to get inside.”
No word yet on whether police have apprehended the man.
