In all the excitement created by the obliteration of my bracket as a result of March Madness, I neglected to post an announcement welcoming Ed Hardiman, alias Dr. Strangesports, and Joel Jackson to MoonDog Sports.
I came across Ed what seems like a few hundred light years ago at Fox Sports blogs during the very brief time I posted there. Ed had a unique way of expressing his views and has been entertaining readers for longer than he probably wants to admit.
Ed is the author of two books and hard at work on his third. As a sports blogger he was a finalist in the 2006 FOXSports/McDonalds Next Great Sports Writer II Contest.
Ed was a recurring guest on WLYC 1050 ESPN Radio’s Edsel Walker Show in 2007, has been a contributing scribbler for FOXSports.com since 2007 and has been a Contributing Editor to Glenn Beck’s Fusion Magazine since 2009.
Joel has written for Your Mother Slept With Wilt Chamberlain and has his own blog too, Afta Church Buffet.
Joel, like me, hails from Memphis and we both love the most dominant conference in college athletics, the mighty SEC.
Ed and Joel have promised to uphold the very finest traditions of MoonDog Sports long history of complete ineptitude and general lack of social conscientiousness.
