Say what you want about Glenn Beck, but the guy has turned himself into a money-making machine. Forbes.com posted an article on April 8 with a breakdown of Beck’s many revenue producing ventures.
The list identifies Beck’s five primary sources of income – book sales, radio, his Web site, speaking engagements and television.
On the surface you might think that Beck draws most of his income from his television program, but his daily show on the Fox News Channel generates the least amount of his revenue at $2 million annually.
His publishing deals represent 41 percent of Beck’s earnings, with sales of his many books and Fusion magazine hauling in a cool $13 million last year.
Beck’s radio program earns him an additional $10 million annually and his Web site produces $4 million each year.
Despite what anyone thinks of Beck, he obviously knows a thing or two about capitalism. Of course, this revelation into his personal finances will probably make his critics even angrier.
All of the harsh words directed towards him haven’t prevented Beck from making a fortune, and that isn’t going to sit well with a lot of the folks at MSNBC.
I don’t think Beck is too worried about that though. With $32 million coming in each year, would you care what your critics thought of you?
I wouldn’t.
