Happy Birthday Susan Ward

Former model and current Make It or Break It actress Susan Ward celebrates her 34th birthday today.

Ward, born in Monroe, Louisiana, began modeling when she was 13. After briefly attending college she decided to leave school and pursue an acting career.

She began with small roles on TV, beginning with the long-running soap opera All My Children and NBC’s short-lived Malibu Shores.

Ward landed her first main role as the heroine on the daytime soap opera Sunset Beach.

In 1999, she began to pursue a movie career, starring as the psychotic Brittany Foster in The In Crowd.

The following year, Ward played a supporting role in the hit movie Shallow Hal and has guest starred in four TV series, most notably Friends.

She is now playing the role of Chloe Kmetko, mother of a young gymnast, on the ABC Family series Make It or Break It.

What she may lack in terms of acting success hasn’t prevented her from becoming a huge hit in the modeling world.

Ward has appeared in several men’s magazines, including Maxim and FHM.
