West Texas A&M, an NCAA Division II school located in Canyon, Texas, had more players selected in the 2010 NFL Draft than 23 BCS schools.

The two Buffaloes’ players drafted were Eugene Sims, a 6-4, 247-pound defensive end who was taken in the sixth round by the St. Louis Rams, and J’marcus Webb, a 6-7, 335-pound offensive tackle taken in the seventh round by the Chicago Bears.

Of the 255 players selected in this year’s draft, 79 were chosen from programs outside the major BCS conferences.
