Grizzlies Zach Randolph Implicated as Marijuana Supplier

Reports surfaced Wednesday night that Memphis Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph has been implicated in an Indianapolis drug bust.

On May 11, Arthur Boyd was arrested by Indianapolis police after apparently leaving a drug dealers house. He was driving a 2008 Cadillac Escallade which was registered to Randolph.

According to one report, more than three ounces of marijuana, two hidden compartments and ammunition was found after police searched the vehicle.

Shortly after Boyd was pulled over, officers raided a storage unit rented by Randolph and drug dogs detected pot in two of the four lockers.

A police informant has identified Randolph as a major marijuana supplier in the city.

Randolph has yet to be charged or arrested. His attorney is expected to release a statement on Thursday.

Randolph averaged a team best 20.8 points and 11.7 rebounds this past season.

This isn’t the first run-in with the law for Randolph. His most recent off-court incident occurred during the 2008-09 season when he was suspended by the Los Angeles Clippers for two games after he was arrested for DUI.
